The Oshkosh/Winnebago County Housing Authority Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Kuzik as Executive Director.
Stuart succeeds outgoing director Susan (Su) van Houwelingen, who is retiring following a dedicated career that included 20 years with the organization of which seven years were served in the capacity of Executive Director. Kuzik will serve as just the 4th director in the agency’s 50 year history.
Stuart has dedicated his professional career to expanding opportunity for individuals, families, and businesses, utilizing his experience in financial services to partner with developers, neighborhood organizations, philanthropic institutions, and business owners in advancing affordable housing and economic development across the Badger State.
He previously served as Director of Business and Community Engagement for the Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority (WHEDA), an independent authority of the State of Wisconsin dedicated to increasing affordable housing and economic development through tax credits and other financial tools.
Stuart is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and completed the National Council of State Housing Agencies Continuing Executive Education program at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. Stuart and his wife, Caitlin, have two sons, and are looking forward to moving from Franklin, Wisconsin to join the Winnebago County community.
