Dear FSS participants and Community Members,

 Happy October!

Oshkosh/Winnebago County Housing Authority offices are still closed to the public. We are still here though and ready whenever you are. If you need to submit documentation of a job starting or ending, please submit by: email to kayh@ohawcha.org, fax (920-424-1474) or drop into our drop box at : 600 Merritt Avenue, Oshkosh or 265 Kaukauna St, Menasha.

Rent Smart virtual classes are now available in the fall. Are you looking for a new place to live? Rent Smart can give you tips on finding affordable housing, strategies on building

positive relationships with landlords, and responsibilities/rights of landlords and tenants. Did you know if you go though this class, you get a year of positive rental history?   Many landlords use the Rent Smart certificate to determine if you would be a good tenant. See page 3 for more information.

Salvation Army Seasonal Assistance has started! Please see page 7 if you are in need of Coats for kids and/or the Toy Store.

Temporary Halt in Residential Evictions: This is for tenants, lessees, or residents of residential properties who are covered by the CDC’s order temporarily halting residential evictions (not including foreclosures on home mortgages) to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 untilDecember 31, 2020. See page 14 for more information.
