The Housing Authority of the County of Winnebago, WI (WCHA) is providing an opportunity for public review and comment on proposed revisions to the Housing Choice Voucher Program Administrative Plan (The Plan). The proposed revisions address requirements of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) to accommodate specific policy changes within the HUD mandatory and discretionary policies. Mandatory changes would occur in Plan Sections regarding Project-Based Housing Vouchers, VASH Vouchers, Mainstream Vouchers and Family Unification Program Housing Conversion Actions. Discretionary changes would occur in Sections regarding: selection from the waiting list, grounds for denial, procedures regarding family moves, portability and repayment agreements. The WCHA will conduct a Public Hearing on the proposed revisions to the Administrative Plan. Public Housing residents, Housing Choice Voucher participants and the general public are invited to attend and provide comments at the Hearing and/or submit written comments during the comment period. The Public Hearing is scheduled for the following time and location:
